The Claddagh legend has always fascinated me. Surely, the idea of wearing a heart around your finger could only be explained through literal means—royalty holding an actual human heart? This is a piece for a personal project idea. It was done through traditional means, using gouache, markers, pencils and ink.
This piece was exhibited in 2017 for the Soul Noir Festival.
